ACET Czech Republic

ACET Czech Republic is a civic association, founded according to the law No 83/1990. It is a corporate body according to the Czech law and is an association of voluntarily associated members. ACET Czech Republic is a fully member of ACET International Alliance, which bestowed its name. For more info see www.acet-international.org

ACET International Alliance is now working at 23 countries (Belarus, Burundi, DR Congo, Croatia, Czech Republic, India, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Russia, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, RSA, Tajikistan, Thailand, Ukraine, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe). ACET association in the Czech Republic serves people in the Czech Republic to help preventing HIV/AIDS infection diffusion.

ACET Czech Republic especially:

• …is actively involved in raising awareness, promoting healthy life style, HIV/AIDS prevention and prevention of social-patological phenomena.
• …works with children and young people.
• …organizes conferences and seminars both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
• …encourages Czech people to take up an objective opinion on AIDS issue.
• …helps to set up Christian Medical centres in order to practically help those, who are infected/affected by AIDS.
• …cooperates with national and international organizations to create legislation, that may prevent AIDS diffusion.
• …publishes methodological and promoting materials.
• …sets up regional subsidiaries in order to work regionally
• …offers lectures, educational programmes and materials
• …supports out-of-school activitities and leisure time for children
• …organizes charity activities and a practical help for young people both in the Czech Republic and abroad
• …supports interracial tollerance and mutual cultural and human understanding
• …supports people from developing countries  to get involved into sustainable development projects and become more qualified
• …sets up regional subsidiaries, that provides various kinds of services.
